Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer, and China PTAC, China's largest mobile phone distributor, enjoy a long-standing partnership that continues to strengthen.Nokia has improved a trade agreement in China. which will see it sell mobile phones value at least US$1.76 billion in 2009 to China PTAC. Mr. Colin Giles, President of Nokia China and Senior Vice President, Greater China, Japan and Korea Sales Unit, and Mr. Tan Xinhui, Chairman of China PTAC Communication Service, signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties.In addition, both parties have agreed to expand strategic ties especially with regard to 3G and operator business.Nokia is estimated to have sold around US$2 billion worth of mobile phones to China PTAC in 2008.
